This simple prawns curry or Kolambi Che Bhujne is the final video of the Learn To Cook - Basics series. This dish requires no complex cooking techniques or requires a lot of time to cook, but that doesn't compromise the taste of this dish. Kolambi cha Bhujne is a non vegetarian variety of the same Batatya cha Bhujna which hails from the Pathare Prabhu community of Mumbai.
The specialty of this curry is it doesn’t require any complex cooking techniques nor doe it require more tom & requires only few ingredients which we have seen in this series.
Bhujne can be made vegetarian using potato as seen in the earlier post, or it can be made using non veg ingredients like this prawns or fish. This curry goes very well with dal and rice, we have already seen how to make dal rice, now let’s make a sabzi and finish off the meal.

I am a Software Engineer by profession but a foodie at heart. I am in love with food! I enjoy the explosion of flavours on my taste buds and am always ready to try different cuisines. One of my fondest memories as a child is sitting on the kitchen counter, watching my mother cook. But as I travelled for work, I missed the tastes of home.
And that was the birth of Simply Simple Cooking YouTube Channel & later this blog.
